Ghelfi leads running trips throughout the Siskiyou backwoods, clearing as many miles in a day as many would backpack in a long weekend.
In February of 2023, Ghelfi moved to Idaho with his family and took a position of Executive Director at the Selway Biterroot Frank Church Foundation.
