for the Siskiyou Hiker

23 AUGUST 2017 | SELMA, ORE. — We’re looking for volunteers to help haul bridge materials in four miles along the Illinois River Trail to Clear Creek September 16-17. Work both days or just one.

This project is not for the faint of heart. You will be working in teams to help haul 20 foot bridge beams that weigh around 170 pounds each. We’ll take things slow and trade off to get the job done. Lunch provided. Camping available at the Briggs Creek Trailhead for participants who want to work both days. We also need help carrying other materials, including smaller timbers and hardware.

Participants should be in great physical shape and up for a challenge.

Transportation leaves Selma, Ore. at 8am for the trailhead. Be back by 6pm. Email info@siskiyoumountainclub.org or call 541-708-2056 for details and to sign up.
