1st time
In June 2006 I stepped into the Kalmiopsis Wilderness for the first time, and my life has never been the same since, and either has the Kalmiopsis. Places, people, and trouble
Since then, I’ve led a community-driven effort to salvage trail networks that had been written off by the status-quo. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to explore a lot of exceptionally wild, remote, and untrammeled places. I’ve met some real characters, and I’ve even gotten myself into a little bit of trouble.
A trialing wilderness
Come learn more and see the Kalmiopsis for yourself this year. Pick up some tips, and hear some of stories defined by trial and error, failure, and success. Shhh
And learn a little secret I’ve been holding onto for over a decade now. It’s not a big secret. Just something I’ve only told a few people.
It happens at 6:30pm at the Ashland Outdoor Store on Thursday, May 18. ###
