Tomorrow April 5: Do Something Awesome

Join Us April 5 For A Journey Into The Red Buttes Wilderness

Red Buttes Sugar Pine

Tomorrow hike about 3-miles along the Butte-Fork Applegate River, under gargantuan sugar pine, fir, to a historic tool shed. Then we’re going to start clearing downed trees and clip brush from the river’s namesake trail.

Don’t miss this chance to give back outside and watch the Red Buttes Wilderness Area burst into spring. Carpools leave Ashland at 8 a.m. and Star Ranger Station (6941 Upper Applegate Rd.) at 9 a.m. We’ll be back to Ashland by around 6 p.m.

You bring some basic gear, food, water and a great attitude. We provide transportation, tools, and professional leadership. Email howegabe(a)gmail.com for details and to sign-up, or call 541-708-2056.
